Brief Description
Our afterschool care programme consists of the following two components:
- Feeding scheme: A weekly feeding scheme caters for 60 children and provides a basic meal, fruit and a juice. Each child is also weighed and measured quarterly to monitor their growth and development over time.
- Educational programme: Two days a week are dedicated to reading, writing, and maths and the children are grouped according to grade and complete activities to help solidify the information they are taught in the classroom. One day per week children engage in dramas, dances, and cultural activities which is often lacking in the national curriculum.
Objectives
